Senior Controller

For an established international industrial group in Central Switzerland, we are currently looking for an experienced Senior Controller to strengthen the finance team. This role offers a broad controlling scope, close interaction with senior stakeholders and exposure to an international, performance-driven environment.

Your responsibilities

• Take ownership of end-to-end controlling activities, including financial reporting, performance analysis and management presentations
• Act as a finance business partner to senior stakeholders, providing insights to support operational and strategic decision-making
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Analyse financial performance, cost structures and profitability, identifying trends, risks and optimisation opportunities
• Prepare financial models, business cases and investment analyses for projects and capital expenditure
• Ensure high data quality and robust controlling processes within the ERP environment
• Support the further development of controlling standards, tools and reporting processes
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an international, matrix-driven organisation

Your profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in Controlling, Finance Business Partnering or a similar role
• Mandatory hands-on experience with ERP system IFS
• Solid knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and management reporting
• Strong analytical mindset combined with the ability to communicate effectively with non-finance stakeholders
• Fluent German and English (spoken and written)
