Acting as a second line of defence, the candidate will ensure adherence to local and international regulations and standards. The candidate will manage relevant conduct related risks. The Deputy Head of Compliance will report to the Chief Compliance Officer and will directly manage part of the compliance team. The role is located in Geneva.
The candidate will mainly cover the following aspects :
-Regulatory requirements: assess local regulatory requirements relating to conduct (FinSA, CISA and FINMA).
-Analysis of relevant conduct and fiduciary risk: perform an ongoing risk assessment to relevant conduct and fiduciary risk.
-Adequacy of products/services to the customers and fiduciary risk: analysis, adaptation and implementation of product governance metrics; ensuring proper coverage of fiduciary risk.
-Market abuse: analysis and enhancement of existing processes.
-Control framework: update and maintain local controls library related to conduct, fiduciary risk and market abuse.
-Relationship with audit and regulator: coordinate and support requests from internal/external audit as regulator institution.
-Team management (4 people).
