Our client, a major company, is looking for an Expert (m/f) for developing the annual biofuels business strategy in accordance with Group guidelines, in order to fulfil the obligations of the European subsidiaries. Biofuels are a replacement for petroleum-derived fossil fuels. It’s a strategic and complex role for someone interested by a global exposure.

Geneva

Main responsibilities :

• Derive the maximum revenue value for the Group (middle/front-office)
• Have a consolidated vision and overview of the Group activities on the biofuel markets and bio-based commodities
• Promotion of the economic advantages of bio-based products to the wider Group

Profile of the candidate :

• Engineering background (ideally)
• Extensive experience in Supply / Trading within an oil production organization, oil trading companies, or Biofuel production entities
• In-depth knowledge of the European biofuel markets
• Excellent negotiating skills (both internally and externally)
• A strategic vision and structured mindset
• Bilingual in French and English. German is a plus.
• Ability to work in a project-based environment and manage stakeholders from multiple business units

This role is based in Geneva with an attractive salary package.
