An international investment firm based centrally in Zurich, in the midst of a high growth phase are now seeking to hire a Legal Counsel - Structuring to support their investments team based here and across Europe. This is a newly created role and you will work closely with management of the firm on funds structuring and deals execution.

Structuring Lawyer (m/f) - Asset Management

As an experienced lawyer, you will have developed your career within investment management/ private equity and will ideally have experience structuring for infrastructure/ real estate investments of a global nature.

Key responsibilities:

• Working cross-functionally with investment, distribution and operations teams providing support and subject matter expertise in structuring funds
• Legal support of and working closely with the investment committee
• Drafting, structuring and reviewing a full range of project documentation
• Create binding prospectuses and memos for products
• Support the sales team in due diligence processes of potential investors or distributors
• Review new regulatory developments in financial markets
• Act as a role model and subject matter expert in product structuring, providing a solutions-oriented mindset

Profile:

As an experienced Lawyer with ideally at least 7 years' (or more) experience gained in Asset Management or infrastructure investments you will bring a varied experience and be comfortable working in a less structured growing environment

• Qualified lawyer in Germany / Switzerland or another international jurisdiction, LL.M may also be considered
• Fluent in English and German as a preference, suitably experienced candidates bringing a different set of language skills may be considered
• Highly flexible team player, who brings strong risk awareness and can apply critical thinking
