Manager, IP Network Engineering

Location: Bern / Berne, Switzerland Work model: hybrid, 3 days on-site / 2 remote Salary: CHF 110'000 - 140'000.- p.a. This permanent role offers a strategic leadership opportunity within a growing and high-performing organisation.

You will:

• Manage a team of five network engineers, setting technical direction and fostering performance and development
• Design, implement, and maintain large-scale IP network infrastructure for global MNO clients
• Manage multi-vendor platforms including Cisco ASR/Nexus, Arista switches, and Fortinet firewalls
• Operate and optimise routing and transport technologies including MPLS, BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, IPSec, and overlay routing
• Ensure secure, reliable, and high-availability service delivery across IPX and GRX environments

You bring:

• 7+ years in network engineering with at least 2 years in a leadership or team-lead role
• Strong expertise in MPLS, BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, IPSec, and overlay routing
• Deep knowledge of network security and encrypted transport solutions
• Proven track record in troubleshooting and optimising high-availability networks
• Excellent communication skills in English, with experience in an international environment; additional languages are a plus
