Fund Controller & Technical Solutions

We are looking for a professional with fund controlling competencies, together with ability to implement tech solutions for a Private Equity firm.

About the role:

• Build and maintain advanced financial models and client reporting tools

• Enhance forecasting models to support cash-flow planning

• Develop automation solutions using Microsoft tools (e.g., Power Platform) and other systems

• Improve data flows and integration between internal systems and external providers

• Oversee daily operations across multiple funds, including capital calls, distributions, and stakeholder communication

• Manage liquidity, cash movements, and credit facilities together with administrators and banking partners

• Prepare and review quarterly/annual financial statements and capital account statements

• Support valuation processes, update valuation models, and prepare materials for review committees

About the candidate:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

• Strong technical skills (Advanced Excel, VBA, SQL); experience with Microsoft Power Platform is a plus

• Proven experience building complex financial models and automation solutions

• 2–4 years of experience in fund accounting, reporting, or operations, ideally with exposure to private equity

• Understanding of private equity fund structures and partnership accounting

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities

• Clear communicator able to work with both technical and non-technical colleagues

• Fluency in English. German fluency preferred.
