Senior Accounting Manager

We are looking for a Senior Accounting Manager that has deep knowledge and understanding of Depository and Trustee Banks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead accounting and financial control activities for the Swiss branch.

• Direct management of one staff member.

• Act as the main finance representative with local governing bodies, regulators, and auditors.

• Ensure accurate reporting and compliance with relevant accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements specific to depositary banking.

• Oversee processes managed by shared service teams to maintain operational excellence.

• Provide insights and guidance on regulatory changes, business developments, and accounting policies.

• Manage and mentor the local finance team, fostering a culture of accuracy, control, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Qualified accountant (e.g., CIMA or equivalent) or extensive experience in audit, consulting, or financial control.

• Strong understanding of depository banking operations, accounting standards, and regulatory frameworks.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial matters to senior stakeholders.

• Proven leadership experience managing teams and financial functions.

• English and German business fluency.

• Proficiency in financial systems (Oracle experience preferred).
