Software Engineer (Java)

The company operates one of the largest tech environments in Switzerland, with over 400 engineers, and is planning further expansion in 2026.

As a Software Engineer, you will work in a large, agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional Scrum teams to deliver enterprise-grade financial applications. You will design, build, and deploy scalable software components using modern Java frameworks and cloud-native tools.

You will:

• Develop backend services in Java / JavaEE and integrate with frontend components built in Angular
• Work on containerised deployments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Contribute to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and automation efforts
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies and collaborate across multiple Scrum teams
• Ensure high-quality, secure and maintainable code in a complex enterprise ecosystem

You bring:

• Proven experience with Java / JavaEE and Angular
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD tooling
• Understanding of DevOps principles and cloud-native environments
• Experience working in agile / Scrum teams in enterprise-scale projects
• Strong communication skills, fluent in both German and English
