As Legal Counsel, you will play a pivotal role in the legal team, providing comprehensive legal advice and solutions to operations. You will be a strategic partner to the business leaders, contributing to the companies growth and success.

Key responsibilities:

• As Legal Counsel you will support the local teams with their legal, compliance and intellectual property matters, with a strong focus on contracts and associates’ training.
• You will be the legal business partner of the central function Human Resources, and, as such, will provide legal input on strategic group initiatives.
• You will also collaborate with the legal team and the business on ensuring compliance with privacy regulations (GDPR, FDPA).
• Concerning intellectual property, you will maintain the trademark database and will critically assess any request for filing or renewing trademarks. Your expertise will also be requested on the structuring of complex contracts that include the licensing or transfer of intellectual property rights.
• You will be in charge of the corporate governance of the legal entities within your region (with the assistance of external counsels when needed).

Your profile:

• French - qualified lawyer with substantial experience (3+ years) in dynamic, international businesses.
• Proven expertise in a generalist legal profile
• Strong ability to assess complex legal issues, think strategically, and provide practical solutions to business challenges.
• You are highly motivated to be a hands-on counsel in terms of practice and matter handling, take responsibility and make a difference for the Legal Team and the Group.
• Fluency in English and French is required; additional languages are a plus.
