SQL Developer

Keywords: SQL, T-SQL, MSSQL; MDM, data engineer Location: Schwyz (2 days/week remote) Salary: CHF 120'000 - 135'000 p.a. base, depending on seniority + bonus An established asset manager in Schwyz is seeking an experienced SQL Developer to support its master data management team. The role focuses on delivering accurate, reliable, and well-structured data across a fully on-premises Microsoft landscape. You will help drive the integrity of information used in portfolio management, regulatory reporting, and operational processes.

You will

• Develop, maintain, and optimise T-SQL procedures, functions, and data transformation routines
• Enhance data models and support governance activities within the master data domain
• Work closely with portfolio managers, analysts, and IT teams to refine data flows
• Improve performance and reliability of SQL Server–based pipelines and scheduled jobs
• Support integrations with external data feeds and internal financial platforms
• Maintain documentation and contribute to process improvements

Your bring

• Several years of hands-on experience with SQL Server and advanced T-SQL
• Solid understanding of Microsoft on-prem environments
• Background in data modelling, data quality, and structured data operations
• Experience in financial services or investment management is a strong advantage
• Communicative and comfortable working with both business and technical teams
• Proficiency in English
• Valid Swiss work permit and/or EU/EFTA citizenship
