As a System Engineer, you will play a vital role in the design, implementation and maintenance of complex systems that support our client's operations.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop and maintain complex systems
• Develop and implement software configurations and system designs that meet the needs of the organisation
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity
• Participate in the development and implementation of disaster recovery plans
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements to the organisation's systems

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of system design and architecture, including familiarity with both on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining complex systems, including experience with Linux operating systems, scripting languages and network protocols
• Proficient in programming languages such as C++, Java and Python
• Experience with cloud-based systems, such as AWS or Azure and associated technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker and Terraform
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex system issues in a timely manner
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in German, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Degree in STEM, e.g. Computer Science or profound professional experience
