Group Accounting & Consolidation Manager
This company with a fully integrated business model spanning sales and manufacturing across Asia, Europe, and the Americas, is looking for a Group Accounting & Consolidation Manager for their Zurich Headquarters.
An innovative player in the Food industry is leading the charge in providing sustainable access to healthy nutrition worldwide.
Responsibilities:
Group Reporting Standards: Review financial data from reporting units to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with Group reporting standards.
Stakeholder management: Produce periodic, reliable, and timely consolidated financial information for Group Senior Management. Provide (semi-) annual consolidated legal reporting to external stakeholders, ensuring full compliance with IFRS and approval from CFO and Audit Committee.
Continuous Improvement of Financial Reporting: chart of accounts, reporting forms, standard reports, company structures, reporting processes, and Controlling tools.
Intercompany recharges and transactions: transfer pricing and intercompany loans.
Manage closing activities: interest income and expense accruals, depreciations, amortization, prepaid and accrued expenses, and inventory provisions.
Intercompany Reconciliations: Perform intercompany reconciliation for all group companies and handle closing activities for all branches.
Qualifications:
• Degree in Business Administration or similar. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in consolidation, group accounting or audit strong and a good knowledge of IFRS. • Business fluency in English mandatory. • Proficiency in IT applications such as Excel, SAP/ERP systems, and Power BI. • Independent with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership. • Good time management, presentation skill, ability to work under pressure, and handle ad-hoc requirements effectively. • Detail-oriented, with a strong emphasis on quality, reliability, duty, structure, and results-driven approach. • Experience in working in multicultural and international environments.
