HR BP 9 months (Private Equity)

We are partnering with a leading international private equity firm in Zurich to appoint an experienced HR Business Partner for an initial 9-months contract.

About the Role

As HR Business Partner, you will support the business across the full employee lifecycle while acting as a trusted adviser to managers and leadership teams. You will work closely with both local and international stakeholders on operational and strategic HR matters.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with business leaders on day-to-day HR topics and employee matters
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee development
  • Advising on Swiss employment law, HR policies, and best practice
  • Managing employee relations issues and supporting organisational changes where required
  • Coordinating compensation and annual HR processes
  • Working closely with global HR teams and external providers
  • Supporting HR projects and process improvement initiatives

This role requires someone who is comfortable operating in a dynamic and demanding environment with high levels of professionalism, discretion, and stakeholder exposure.

About the Candidate

We are looking for an experienced HR professional with a strong background in financial services. Prior experience within private equity, investment management, or similarly fast-paced investment environments would be highly advantageous.

You will ideally bring:

  • Several years of experience in an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Generalist role
  • Experience within private equity, asset management, banking, or financial services
  • Strong knowledge of Swiss employment law and HR practices
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • A hands-on and proactive working style
  • The ability to work independently in a lean and high-performing environment
  • Fluency in both German and English is essential

This is a fixed-term opportunity based in Zurich with an immediate or short-notice start preferred.
