For our client, a global insurance group, we are looking for an Operations Specialist, to join their team based in Zurich. Our client is a global insurance group, looking to add an Operations Specialist to their team in Zurich. This is a newly created position, to help grow and develop the current team. An excellent opportunity for anyone who is looking to join a fast-growing company with global presence, with a very dynamic non-hierarchic and young team culture.

About the role:

  • Coordination of the different country departments (Underwriters, Claims Handlers, Credit Control and brokers);
  • Review queries and help resolve and identify root cause analysis. Feedback on improvement opportunities on internal processes;
  • Respond to all onshore administrative queries and requirements from brokers, collaborating with the global Operations team as required;
  • Assist with coordination of all local language policy issuance and/or queries;
  • Supports local underwriters and claims handlers with processes and procedures as required;
  • Adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements.

About the candidate:

  • Economics and/or consultancy background. University degree.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with good communication skills, verbally and in writing;
  • Good MS Office skills;
  • Able to handle tight deadlines;
  • Team player and able to work in a multicultural environment;
  • Able to work independently and proactive;
  • English is a must, combined with either German or French fluency.
