Senior Legal Counsel

Our client, a global service provider supporting industrial, life sciences, and consumer sectors with specialised solutions, is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join their commercial legal team. This role offers an opportunity to work across high-impact cross-border transactions while contributing to a purpose-driven organisation.

Your responsibilities:

• Draft and Negotiate Agreements: Lead the creation, negotiation, and review of complex commercial contracts across jurisdictions, ensuring alignment with business goals and legal compliance
• Procurement Contracts: Provide expert advice on supplier agreements to ensure regulatory adherence and minimise risks
• Strategic Support: Streamline legal templates and advise leadership on decisions impacting long-term strategy.
• Negotiations and Disputes: Represent the company in high-level negotiations and manage disputes, including coordination with external counsel
• Project Leadership: Oversee legal aspects of strategic initiatives to ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with company values
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate legal risks while staying updated on relevant laws and regulations
• Governance: Uphold integrity in all legal matters and contribute to ethical governance frameworks

Your qualifications:

• Experience: 8–10 years in corporate/commercial law, combining top-tier law firm and in-house roles
• Contract Expertise: Skilled in drafting, negotiating, and managing complex agreements across jurisdictions
• Specialised Knowledge: Strong background in procurement contracts, compliance, risk mitigation, and dispute resolution
• Executive Advisory: Proven ability to counsel senior leaders on critical legal matters while aligning with business goals
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French and German is highly preferred
• Leadership: Experienced in mentoring junior lawyers and leading cross-functional teams
