Senior SAP Enterprise Architect
A high-impact Senior SAP Enterprise Architecture opportunity has become available within an international organization undergoing a complex SAP transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enterprise Architecture: Define, evolve, and govern the SAP enterprise architecture roadmap, supporting the transition from legacy ECC systems to a scalable, future-ready S/4HANA landscape.
- Architecture Leadership: Lead architecture across large-scale ERP transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment between business priorities, application design, data flows, and technical platforms.
- Integration Architecture: Own and govern complex integration landscapes across SAP and non-SAP systems, with a strong focus on interoperability, simplification, resilience, and the reduction of technical debt.
- Design Authority: Act as the architectural reference point for key design decisions, challenging solution proposals where needed and ensuring adherence to enterprise standards, target architecture, and long-term strategic principles.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with senior business and IT stakeholders to translate business objectives into pragmatic architecture blueprints, roadmaps, and decision frameworks.
- Functional Guidance: Bring strong functional expertise in SAP SD / Order-to-Cash processes, while contributing architectural guidance across adjacent domains such as FICO, MM, and MDG.
Profile:
- Experience: 15+ years experience, including 5+ years in an Enterprise Architecture or role within complex, multinational environments.
- Architecture Expertise: Strong grounding in enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, with the ability to apply them pragmatically in large SAP-enabled transformation programs.
- Transformation Track Record: Proven experience leading or shaping architecture for SAP ECC to S/4HANA migrations, ideally within large-scale and heterogeneous system landscapes.
- Integration Focus: Deep expertise in integration architecture, including enterprise integration patterns, system landscape complexity, interface rationalization, and technical debt management.
- Functional Depth: Strong hands-on understanding of Order-to-Cash processes is essential; knowledge of FICO, MM, and MDG is considered a strong advantage.
- Influence & Governance: Demonstrated ability to govern System Integrators, influence design outcomes, and engage credibly with senior stakeholders across both business and technology functions.
- Complexity Management: Comfortable operating in highly complex environments, balancing standardization, business flexibility, and architectural integrity across multiple platforms and workstreams.
