Quant Developer

Location: Remote (UTC / UTC+1 / UTC+2) or Zurich Tech stack: Python, KDB+; C++ (optional); TCP/UDP; Low-latency systems; Git Our client is a fast-growing fintech scale-up headquartered in Zürich, focused on building the infrastructure behind modern crypto trading platforms. Reporting to the Quant Portfolio Manager, this role sits within a cross-functional quant and trading technology team operating across EU time zones, with the option of hybrid work from their centrally located Zürich office.

You will:

• Develop and maintain low-latency execution algorithms for OTC trading
• Implement and optimize real-time systems using Python and KDB+
• Support the deployment and monitoring of systematic trading strategies
• Maintain and evolve internal data pipelines and historical market datasets
• Collaborate with traders and researchers to translate ideas into production-grade code
• Contribute to system design involving networking protocols and high-throughput data flow

You bring:

• 2+ years of experience in quantitative development or systematic trading
• Strong programming skills in Python, with hands-on experience in KDB+ (C++ is a plus)
• Familiarity with TCP/UDP networking protocols and low-latency system design
• Excellent algorithmic and analytical thinking
• STEM degree, ideally in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or similar
• Strong communication skills in English
