Junior Treasury Specialist

A well-established international trading company based in Zug is looking for a Junior Treasury Specialist to join its finance and treasury team. The business operates across global energy and industrial markets and offers a dynamic, international working environment with exposure to treasury operations across multiple currencies and banking partners.

This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with initial experience in treasury, cash management, accounts payable, or trade finance who wants to build a long-term career in corporate treasury.

Working as part of a collaborative treasury team, you will support day-to-day treasury operations, cash management activities, and liquidity monitoring while gaining exposure to a broad range of treasury and trade finance processes.

Key responsibilities


  • Execute domestic and international payments across multiple currencies
  • Monitor daily cash balances and support liquidity management activities
  • Perform bank account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
  • Maintain communication with banking partners regarding payments, confirmations, balances, and operational queries
  • Monitor incoming and outgoing cash flows and support cash forecasting
  • Track outstanding payments and assist with follow-up activities
  • Support the administration of treasury facilities, including loans, deposits, and related documentation
  • Verify banking fees and treasury-related transactions
  • Prepare documentation for financing and treasury operations
  • Contribute to treasury reporting, process improvements, and ad-hoc finance projects



Your profile


  • Initial experience in treasury, cash management, accounts payable, or trade finance
  • A degree or professional qualification in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field is an advantage
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • High attention to detail and a reliable, structured way of working
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
  • Strong Excel skills
  • A proactive mindset and an interest in improving processes and systems
