Legal Counsel 6 months

We are looking for a Swiss qualified Lawyer to join the legal team of an Asset Manager for 6 months.

About the job:

• Advising on corporate law and governance matters for the asset manager and its entities
• Providing legal support on treasury activities and transactions
• Advising on capital markets-related matters, documentation and transactions
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of commercial and financial agreements
• Supporting internal stakeholders on legal and regulatory matters relevant to their activities
• Working closely with internal teams, including Treasury, Finance, Compliance and senior management
• Coordinating with external counsel where required
• Identifying legal risks and providing pragmatic, commercially focused advice

About the candidate:

• Swiss-qualified lawyer with approximately 5+ years of post-qualification experience
• Solid experience in capital markets and corporate law
• Previous experience in asset management, banking, financial services or a comparable environment is highly desirable
• Experience with treasury matters is an advantage
• Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities
• Commercially minded, pragmatic and solutions-oriented
• Fluent English is essential; German is preferred
• Available for a 6-month temporary contract to cover a maternity leave
