  • Take ownership of Lombard lending expertise, supporting client engagements and providing specialist knowledge of the Swiss market.

  • Act as a subject matter expert on Swiss Lombard lending products, market practices, operational processes and regulatory requirements.

  • Review and respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring client requirements are properly understood, interpreted and addressed.

  • Translate client needs into clear product and technical requirements, working closely with internal stakeholders.

  • Coordinate with international product, technology and commercial teams to ensure solutions are aligned with Swiss banking requirements.

  • Support the full deal execution process, from initial client discussions and requirements gathering through to contract signature.

  • Provide specialist input on collateral types, loan-to-value (LTV) structures, margining, breach and trigger management, and reporting.

  • Advise on the structure and operational management of Lombard lending portfolios within Swiss financial institutions.

  • Contribute to the development and refinement of product propositions to ensure alignment with local market expectations.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant stakeholders across the Swiss private banking and wealth management industry.

  • Act as a key point of contact for Swiss market-specific product and operational matters.

  • Work autonomously, taking ownership of projects and contributing to the successful delivery of commercial and client-related objectives.

About the candidate:

  • Approximately 5–10 years of relevant experience in Lombard lending, ideally within a Swiss private bank or a consultancy advising private banking institutions.

  • Strong technical understanding of Lombard lending products and processes, including:

    • Different collateral types and asset classes.

    • Loan-to-value (LTV) calculations and structures.

    • Margining processes and collateral monitoring.

    • Breach analysis and trigger management.

    • Reporting requirements and operational workflows.

  • Good understanding of the Swiss private banking landscape, including the main market participants and the structure of their Lombard lending businesses.

  • Knowledge of the Swiss regulatory framework and local market practices.

  • Proven ability to analyse complex client requirements, interpret RFPs and translate them into actionable product and technical specifications.

  • Experience managing client engagements and coordinating multiple stakeholders through to successful deal execution.

  • Fluent in both German and English. Swiss German would be a strong advantage.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact confidently with both technical and commercial teams.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, combined with a structured and pragmatic approach.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive attitude and ability to work independently in a lean, fast-paced environment.

  • Comfortable operating at the intersection of financial services, product, technology and commercial execution.

  • Previous experience with banking technology providers or financial software vendors would be advantageous.

  • An established network within Swiss private banking, wealth management or family office environments would be beneficial.
