Compliance Officer (m/f/d) | 80-100%
Our client is a well-established international organization with a diverse global client base and ambitious growth plans in Switzerland. To support the continued expansion of its Swiss operations and strengthen its local compliance capabilities, we are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Compliance Officer.
This is a unique opportunity for a compliance professional who enjoys working at the intersection of regulation, client engagement and business partnership. You will play a key role in ensuring robust AML and KYC standards while helping the business deliver an exceptional client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee AML, KYC, CDD and EDD processes across the client lifecycle
- Review and assess complex corporate, trust, holding and multi-layer ownership structures
- Conduct sanctions, PEP and adverse media screenings
- Support client onboarding and ongoing monitoring activities
- Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders on regulatory and compliance matters
- Partner closely with business development and client-facing teams to facilitate efficient onboarding while maintaining the highest compliance standards
- Contribute to the enhancement of compliance frameworks, policies and internal controls
- Support risk assessments, audits and regulatory reporting requirements
- Monitor regulatory developments and promote best practice across the organization
Your Profile
- Several years of experience in Compliance, AML/KYC, Financial Crime Prevention or Regulatory Compliance
- Strong understanding of Swiss AML and regulatory requirements
- Experience with international corporate, trust and holding structures is highly advantageous
- Confident communicator with the ability to explain complex compliance requirements in a practical and client-friendly manner
- Strong stakeholder management skills and a collaborative mindset
- Fluent German and English; French is considered an asset
- High level of integrity, professionalism and sound judgement
