General Manager - Fintech

We are looking for a General Manager to help drive the strategic development of a fast-growing fintech in Zurich.

About the job:

• Lead and grow the fintech business in Zurich, with ownership of the Swiss market strategy and performance
• Work closely with the founders and leadership team to define priorities and drive execution
• Own commercial growth, including customer acquisition, partnerships, and new business opportunities
• Oversee key operational areas and work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Risk, and Operations
• Build and lead a high-performing local team and establish scalable ways of working
• Develop relationships with customers, strategic partners, investors, and other key stakeholders
• Identify new market opportunities and turn them into actionable growth initiatives
• Represent the company externally within the Swiss fintech and financial-services ecosystem
• Play a hands-on role in shaping the company's next phase of growth

About the candidate:

• 20+ years' experience in fintech, financial services, technology, consulting, or another high-growth environment
• Proven experience leading a business, market, business unit, or significant cross-functional function
• Strong track record of delivering commercial growth and measurable results
• Entrepreneurial, pragmatic, and comfortable operating with significant autonomy
• Strong strategic thinking combined with a hands-on execution mindset
• Excellent commercial judgement, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability
• Strong understanding of the Swiss financial-services and fintech ecosystem
• Experience in a regulated business or environment is highly desirable
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
• Fluent English required; German strongly preferred
• Motivated by building, scaling, and making a tangible impact in a fast-moving startup environment
