Senior Finance Leader

Location: Central Switzerland An established international organisation is seeking a senior finance leader to oversee and further develop its finance function. Reporting directly to the CFO, this position offers broad responsibility across multiple jurisdictions and provides significant exposure to executive leadership.

The successful candidate will assume broad responsibility for the organisation's finance operations, ensuring effective oversight, strong governance, and support for strategic business objectives. In addition to ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance, the role will drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and support strategic decision-making through high-quality financial insights and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a well-established international finance function through its next phase of development and growth
• Partner with senior leadership on both strategic and operational matters, helping to shape priorities and support business objectives
• Identify opportunities to enhance processes, strengthen organisational effectiveness, and deliver sustainable improvements
• Operate as a hands-on leader, combining technical expertise with commercial judgement and a collaborative approach

• An accomplished finance professional with a track record of success in senior leadership positions
• Able to combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and strong operational ownership
• Recognised for sound judgement, credibility, and the ability to navigate complex business environments
• Possesses a strong technical foundation and the ability to engage confidently across a broad range of finance-related topics
• A Swiss professional finance qualification is highly valued, particularly where it reflects deep expertise in the local regulatory and business environment
• Comfortable operating in an international setting and collaborating with stakeholders across different cultures and functions
• Fluent in German and English
