Recruitment Consultant - Trainee

Trainee Recruitment Consultant (60%–100%) – Zürich Robert Walters is currently seeking a motivated Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our Zürich office. This opportunity is ideal for university students who want to gain hands-on experience in recruitment while continuing their studies.

What does the traineeship involve?

As a trainee, you will gain practical experience and develop key skills in recruitment and client management:

• Build expertise within a specific industry sector, working with both clients and candidates
• Support the recruitment process from sourcing candidates to conducting interviews
• Assist in business development and help build long-term client relationships
• Work closely with experienced consultants who will mentor and guide you
• Develop a solid foundation in sales, communication, and consulting skills

Your profile:

We are looking for driven and confident individuals who are eager to learn and grow:

• Currently enrolled at a university
• Fluent in (Swiss) German with good English skills (additional languages are a plus)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, motivated, and results-oriented mindset
• Professional appearance and strong work ethic
• Interest in business, sales, and relationship management
• Availability to work at least 3 days per week (60%–100%)
• Able to commit to a minimum of 6 months
