AP Accountant (maternity leave cover)

Location: Greater Zurich Area (Hybrid: 3 days onsite) Start: Ideally June 2026 Duration: Approx. 6-9 months We are looking for an Accounts Payable Accountant to join a finance team on a temporary maternity leave cover. This is a hands-on, operational AP role suited to someone with solid day-to-day accounting experience who enjoys working in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and payments
• Manage AP workflows and vendor master data
• Support expense reports and invoice postings
• Handle general operational AP tasks and archiving
• Support colleagues and ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements

• Several years of Accounts Payable experience
• Strong SAP knowledge is essential
• Fluent German is mandatory; good English required
• Commercial Degree or similar qualification
• Reliable, detail-oriented and hands-on approach
• Team player with a practical mindset

This role is best suited to someone operational and execution-focused rather than highly senior or strategic-profile candidates.
