Corporate Accountant - Asset Management

We are looking for a Corporate Accountant to join our client's finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with experience in the financial services sector who is looking to take the next step in their career within a dynamic and international environment.

About the job:

• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Swiss GAAP and applicable accounting standards.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare VAT returns and support corporate tax filings.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
• Support regulatory and statutory reporting requirements.
• Maintain accounting controls and contribute to process improvements.
• Assist with financial analysis and management reporting.
• Support finance-related projects and other ad hoc tasks as required.

About the candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably within an asset management firm, financial services company, or similar regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of Swiss accounting principles and VAT regulations.
• Experience preparing statutory financial statements and working with external auditors.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Fluency in English and German is a mut have.
