Valuation Analyst

We are looking for a Valuation Analyst, to support a Private Equity firm for 6 months. This is a maternity leave cover.

About the job:

• Supporting the monthly monitoring and valuation of private equity investments.
• Assisting with the review of portfolio company performance, KPIs, financial information, and capital structures.
• Reviewing GP reports, capital account statements, and other investment documentation.
• Supporting financial year-end audits by sourcing, organising, and documenting valuation packs and responding to information requests.
• Assisting in the preparation of valuation reports, presentations, and internal reporting materials.
• Using AI and other tools to assist with data collection, extraction, categorisation, and quality checks.

About the candidate:

• Experience or interest in private equity, investment analysis, valuation, or financial reporting.
• Good understanding of financial statements and financial data.
• Assisting in the preparation of valuation reports, presentations, and internal reporting materials.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to review, analyse, and clearly document information.
