Role Purpose

• We are looking for a driven and highly organised Associate Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team within Banking.
• This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about recruitment, determined to deliver high-quality outcomes and keen to develop their career within a fast-paced, professional banking environment.
• The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, combined with strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities. You will work closely with recruiters, hiring managers, candidates and other colleagues to ensure a professional, efficient and positive recruitment experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and progressively manage recruitment activities across the full recruitment lifecycle, from role opening through to offer and onboarding.
• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring requirements, role profiles and candidate expectations.
• Support candidate sourcing, screening and initial assessment against agreed selection criteria.
• Coordinate and manage interview processes when needed, ensuring timely communication with candidates and stakeholders.
• Maintain regular contact with candidates throughout the recruitment journey and deliver a consistently strong candidate experience.
• Support offer preparation, pre-employment checks and onboarding activities, ensuring all required steps are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment information within the Applicant Tracking System and other HR systems.
• Monitor recruitment processes and proactively follow up on outstanding actions, approvals and feedback.
• Ensure recruitment activities are conducted in line with internal policies, governance requirements and relevant regulatory standards.
• Support recruitment reporting, data quality and Talent Acquisition metrics.
• Build strong working relationships across Talent Acquisition, HR and the wider business.
• Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and contribute positively to the wider Talent Acquisition team.

What We Are Looking For

• Previous experience in recruitment, Talent Acquisition, HR or a closely related environment.
• A solid understanding of the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle.
• Exceptional attention to detail, particularly when working with candidate information, systems, documentation and recruitment processes.
• A proactive and determined approach, with the ability to take ownership and follow tasks through to completion.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage several recruitment processes and competing priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging with candidates and internal stakeholders.
• A strong service mindset and commitment to providing an excellent candidate and hiring-manager experience.
• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Good judgement, discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
• Strong systems and digital capability, with the ability to learn new recruitment technologies quickly.
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to support colleagues while taking individual accountability for assigned activities.
