Mandatsleiter / Trust Manager

We are looking for a Trust Manager to join the team of a Trust firm in Zurich. This is a good opportunity for someone who's developed experience in Switzerland and would like a more international scope of mandates, alongside Swiss based mandates.

About the job:

• Independently manage and oversee a portfolio of Swiss and international fiduciary mandates.
• Act as a primary contact for clients, families, trustees, banks, lawyers, tax advisers and other professional advisers.
• Coordinate the administration and ongoing management of trusts, foundations, companies and other wealth or succession structures.
• Ensure that mandates are administered in accordance with applicable Swiss legal, regulatory and internal requirements.
• Coordinate with internal and external specialists on legal, tax, accounting and compliance matters.
• Prepare and review correspondence, documentation, resolutions, agreements and other mandate-related materials.
• Monitor key deadlines, obligations and deliverables across the mandate portfolio.
• Identify client needs and contribute to the development of existing client relationships.
• Support the onboarding of new mandates and assist with the implementation of new structures.
• Maintain high standards of client service, confidentiality, accuracy and professionalism.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and the wider development of the trust business.

About the candidate:

• Several years of relevant Swiss work experience within a trust company, fiduciary firm, family office, private bank or similar professional services environment.
• Proven experience in independently managing client mandates.
• Experience with trusts, foundations, companies and/or other fiduciary and wealth-planning structures.
• International and cross-border mandate experience is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of the Swiss fiduciary, regulatory and compliance environment.
• Fluent German and English are essential, both written and spoken.
• Strong client-management and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to communicate with sophisticated private clients and professional advisers.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple mandates and priorities simultaneously.
• Commercially minded with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
• Professional, discreet and comfortable working with confidential and sensitive information.
• Relevant professional qualification in fiduciary services, finance, law, tax or a related discipline is advantageous.
