Information Security Officer (ISO 27001)

An Information Security Officer role has become available at a technology international organization seeking to establish a robust security framework.

Responsibilities

• Drive the rollout of an ISO 27001-compliant Information Security Management System (ISMS) organization-wide.
• Perform comprehensive risk assessments and design actionable mitigation strategies.
• Create and maintain security policies, operational procedures, and control mechanisms.
• Align and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth adoption.
• Organize and oversee certification audit processes, including auditor coordination and evidence preparation.
• Implement security governance frameworks and drive ongoing improvement initiatives.

Profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in information security, IT risk management, or compliance.
• Hands-on experience successfully leading ISO 27001 implementation projects from scratch to certification.
• Hold ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor certification (or equivalent).
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
• Fluent English, German fluency a strong advantage.
